Competencies: Design, Development and Implementation Course in Kuala Lumpur

Building Competency Frameworks That Connect People, Performance, and Strategy

Competency frameworks provide organisations with a structured way to define the knowledge, skills, behaviours, and capabilities required for successful performance. When properly designed, they create a common language for recruitment, performance management, learning and development, career progression, and talent decisions.

The Competencies – Design, Development and Implementation course provides participants with a practical methodology for creating and applying behavioural and technical competency frameworks. Across five days, participants learn how to identify competency requirements, collect and analyse relevant data, define proficiency levels, establish assessment methods, test and calibrate frameworks, and align competencies with organisational strategy.

The programme takes participants from initial framework design through implementation and continuous improvement, ensuring competency systems are practical, measurable, clearly communicated, and integrated into core HR processes.
