Effective data management requires more than technology. Organisations need clear governance, reliable architecture, consistent models, strong quality controls, secure storage, and well-defined responsibilities to ensure data can support operations, compliance, analytics, and strategic decision-making.
The DMBoK and CDMP Preparation: Data Management Fundamentals course provides participants with a practical introduction to the DAMA-DMBOK framework and the core disciplines that shape modern enterprise data management. Across five days, participants explore data governance, architecture, modelling, quality, metadata, master and reference data, security, lifecycle management, warehousing, and organisational change.
The programme also supports preparation for the Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) examination by reinforcing core terminology, concepts, modelling techniques, and DAMA-DMBOK knowledge areas. Completion of the course does not itself award the CDMP credential; participants must meet the relevant certification requirements and successfully complete the applicable examination.
