Port Management and Operations Course in Istanbul

Managing Ports for Safe, Efficient, and Competitive Operations

Ports are critical links in global trade, connecting shipping networks with inland transport, logistics systems, and international supply chains. Managing them effectively requires a strong understanding of cargo operations, infrastructure, technology, project delivery, and regulatory requirements.

The Port Management and Operations training course provides a practical overview of how modern ports and terminals operate. Participants examine the movement and handling of different cargo types, port capacity and connectivity, project management principles, and the responsibilities of key maritime stakeholders.

The programme also explores how smart technologies, data, automation, and emerging digital solutions are transforming port operations. With dedicated attention to health, safety, security, environmental management, and operational risk, participants develop a well-rounded understanding of the factors that support safe, efficient, and sustainable port performance.
