Cards and Payments Professional Course in Amsterdam

Understanding the Infrastructure Behind Modern Payments

Every card tap, online checkout, mobile payment, or international transaction depends on a complex network of issuers, acquirers, processors, payment schemes, technology providers, and security controls. As payments become faster and more digital, professionals in the sector need to understand not only how transactions flow, but also how revenue, risk, compliance, and innovation interact across the ecosystem.

The Cards and Payments Professional training course provides a practical understanding of the modern cards and payments industry. Across five days, you'll explore card products and transaction networks, issuing and acquiring operations, fraud and chargeback management, digital payments, open banking, payment security, and international payment practices.

The programme connects operational knowledge with commercial and strategic considerations, helping participants understand how payment products are managed, protected, and developed as the industry moves towards increasingly digital, contactless, and real-time models.
